Randalstown Prepare to Host Irish Hockey League Leaders Loreto
This Saturday see Randalstown Ladies Hockey Club playing host to their first ever home Irish Hockey League when leaders Loreto Hockey Club from Dublin come to the Antrim Forum.
It will be a tough game for the Randalstown side as Loreto have 4 Irish Internationals in their squad and is sitting proudly at the top of Pool A having played 3 and won 3.
Randalstown have been close in 2 out of the 3 matches played going down 1-0 at Cork Church of Ireland and then 3-2 at Pegasus. The local girls have though seen a vast improvement in play and results as the campaign has progressed.
Saturday will also see Randalstown U14s playing against local rivals Rainey before the main match. The juniors start at 2:30pm and the IHL match starts at 4:00pm – both matches taking place at the Antrim Forum.
All hockey enthusiasts are urged to come along to support
the leading Ladies Hockey club in the area and enjoy what should be
